Jayalalithaa Jayaram: Jayalalithaa Jayaram also known as Selvi J Jayalalithaa, is the current Chief Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu, India. She was a popular film star in Indian cinema before her entry into politics.

Pratibha Devisingh Patil: Pratibha Devisingh Patil is an Indian politician who served as the 12th President of the Republic of India and was the first woman to hold the office


Sheila Dixit: Her third consecutive term as Delhi's Chief Minister speaks volumes about her clout in Indian politics. She has been handling the barbs of the opposition and discord within her party with amazing dexterity. Although under scanner for being unable to control crime in the capital, Dixit's contribution in making Delhi metro a reality and controlling pollution by making CNG the norm for heavy vehicles, cannot be forgotten.

Sushma Swaraj: The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma seems to have transformed herself as the tender face of womanhood within the BJP as she has been working hard to dilute the bitterness of the opposition. Though sometimes she herself takes a tough stand when the government treads on the wrong track.
