Theo finds himself alone and much in love, and at the center of a dangerous circle. The Goldfinch is a great read with amazing narration, stunning characterization, mesmerizing language, and chilling suspense. It is an old-fashioned, beautiful story of triumph, loss, self-invention, love, obsession, and fate.
