Summary of the Book
Ram and Lakshman continue in their adventures, reaching Mithila where they find King Janaka and the Princess Seeta. Seeta's powers are drawn from the Earth itself, and Janaka claims that she is the daughter of the Earth. The sage Vishwamitra reveals that Ram must now protect Seeta to save the world. Ram understands his Dharma but he finds Seeta very difficult to be around.
