Highlights of union budget 2014

  • Indian Custom Single Window Project to be taken up for facilitating trade

  • Personal income tax exemption limit raised from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh for those above 60 years
  • Personal income tax exemption limit raised from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh for those below 60 years, no changes in rates
  • Rs 100 crore for modernisation of madrasas
