Dig deep into the pockets of the checkered Wall Street with Flash Boys, a revealing book on the inner workings and machinations of the biggest financial market in the world.
Summary of the Book
Stand back world of alpha male financial consultants, there is a new player in town. True, since the world's money is protected not by men at all but by code. Code which is rigged as much as anyone could expect, in ways that none of us did. What happens to the world's money? This book reveals that those who know, are becoming richer by the second. A world of back-stabbers who wouldn't hesitate for a second before robbing old ladies, the Wall Street of today is a vast network of black boxes and computer code which feeds money into pockets as deep as any abyss this world has to offer. In this book, Michel Lewis tells the story of one group of geniuses who set out to expose the dark world. However, their journey pits them against some of the ugliest names and faces in Wall Street.
