Summary of the Book
Akola Suresh has recently returned from the US only to find that, in the three years that she has been away, there have been a lot of changes that have occurred in the place that she used to call 'home'. She finds that her parent, who she addresses by their first names, are always bickering about something or the other. Her grandparents are stuck in their old-age eccentricities, her brother is starting to become a rebel, and her little sister dreams of being the next big star in Kollywood. Akola knows one thing for sure: 'bonding' is not a word that she would ever use to describe what her family is up to. However, they are going to be forced into living the life of a family when old secrets are revealed and a horrific incident has shaken them all.

Abirami M. Krishnan is a 28 year old Biotechnologist who is of South Indian origin. She had gone to the US to pursue a Master's degree in Molecular Biology. She then came back to follow her interests: arts, media and writing. She says that any job is worth doing. She has worked as an RJ, newspaper reporter, features writer, television news anchor, emcee, model and actor. Recently, she completed a postgraduate diploma in management and is put up in Bangalore.
