Description of The Rozabal Line (Paperback) by Ashwin Sanghi
The Rozabal Line links together many concepts, like the fate of Jesus after crucifixion, modern islamic terrorism, and comparative religion, to create a fast paced theological thriller.

Summary Of The Book
The Rozabal Line covers a lot of ground, literally. It jumps locations and timelines as the events move and the focus keeps shifting.
An American priest begins to have some weird visions. Father Vincent Morgan sees visions of Christ's crucifixion, and he also dreams of his own past lives. As he tries to make sense of all this, he makes some startling discoveries.
Then, there is an islamic terrorist group. This group consists of 13 members, resembling Jesus and his 12 Apostles. They disperse to unleash acts of destruction that will trigger Armageddon.
The plot moves from Ancient India in 3127 BC to India a few centuries before the Christian Era and then to Judea in 26 A.D. It then goes back in time again to ancient Persia, Syria and Egypt. The book jumps back and forth between many eras and many locations around the world. These fast switches actually serve to move the plot forward and help piece together the different threads in the story. The plot keeps coming back to the priest who discovers that Jesus survived the crucifixion, and that he lived in Kashmir in India for several years.
The thirteen Islamic terrorists are all linked to Jesus and their chief is actually a descendant of Jesus Christ. Their eventual fate too closely reflects those of Christ and his twelve disciples. The author also weaves in a study of comparative religion. He highlights the predictions of a coming messenger or prophet found in many different cultures. He draws on the aspects of these varied predictions such as the Egyptian myths, the prophecies of the Aztecs, Norse legends and Greek mythology.
The Rozabal Line was first published under a pseudonym, Shawn Haigins. After the publication of the novel, it was reported that there was a sudden increase in the number of visitors to the Rozabal shrine in Srinagar.
